Delhi: The world’s largest carrier is selling an air-conditioned aircraft at the world’s biggest airport.
Indarair, India’s largest airline, said on Wednesday it will start selling the plane at the airport.
The plane, dubbed the Indar Air, is designed to make the air at its airports more comfortable, with a wing and wingspan of more than 1,200 meters (5,800 feet) and a maximum takeoff weight of 3,000 tons.
The aircraft will be equipped with an in-flight entertainment system that can play movies, television shows, video games and concerts, Indar said in a statement.
Indars jets will be able to fly up to 4,000 kilometers (2,600 miles) and up to 9,000 knots (16,000 mph) at sea level, it said.
IndariaAir has been operating since 1987 and has become one of the world`s biggest airlines, flying more than 100 million passengers a year, according to its website.
