Austin air conditioners are “the most important” items to consider for a professional football team, according to the owner of a Houston-area company that offers them.
“You need air conditioning equipment to run the ball.
You need air conditioning for the locker room.
You want to get the best out of your equipment,” Greg LaVine said.
“That’s the big thing.
If we don’t have it, we don.
And we need it.”
In addition to the standard air conditioner, LaVines company offers a full range of air condition units for the home, office and gym, which are all priced from $200 to $300.
His air condition company, KYZAR, offers a range of home air condition solutions that range from premium units that can run fans and hot water to a simple, low-cost unit that allows fans to cool off after games.
A KYZZA-branded air conditioning unit, the only one of its kind in Texas, cost about $300 and was installed at KZYZ’s facility in 2012.
“A lot of teams don’t even know how to do this,” LaVino said.
The company’s air condition unit is now being installed in the stadium.
He said his company, which was founded in 2011, has made an investment of about $100,000 since then.
He also said he is a fan of the idea of expanding the range of options.
“When I started this company, it was kind of the Wild West.
I didn’t have much experience.
I think we’ve done a lot of good,” LaLino said, adding that his company is in the process of adding another unit to its fleet.”
We’re not just about one brand.
We’re about three.
We have all kinds of brands in there,” he said.
A few of his competitors, including KYZE and KZAZ, are still offering units.
LaViner said his firm, which is not related to the Houston-based air conditioning company, is working to get a new unit on the market in 2019.
“My goal is to get that out in the market as soon as we can,” he added.
